Had 3 large cast iron radiators from the 1930s sand blasted + powder coated here and am beyond pleased with how they came out. I spent a lot time researching how best to get them back to their original form after layers of paint and terrible chipping. The price was reasonable and the work was spotless. Highly recommend!
No job too small—and a great price! A few years ago, I installed an Elfa shelving system in my garage using white 20-inch verticals. Their shorter length let me place the shelves above the open garage door, hidden from view outside. When I returned a year ago to buy more, I learned Elfa had discontinued that size. I could buy longer verticals and have them cut down, but that would have been costly. Fortunately, they found a batch of 20-inch verticals in gray, which I bought. I considered spray-painting them, but worried the paint would peel from the powder-coated metal. A rim refinishing shop told me the job would be expensive, so I searched online and found Iconic Powder Coating. Matthew gave me a very reasonable price, so I went ahead with the work. They sandblasted the verticals down to bare metal and powder-coated them white, matching the rest of my shelving beautifully. The price was especially worth while since buying primer and paint myself would have cost almost as much. Matthew was great to work with, and Iconic did a phenomenal job.
Just picked up my outdoor chair I had it painted red the job that they did here at the iconic powder coating is outstanding. The chair looks perfect and brand new. This place is a hidden gem !! Their work is excellent. Much more importantly, they seem to operate like a family. Even the workers appear content and happy to be there, which is not common in similar environments. And this is not only about Customer Service, it appears to be the house mentality. Going there felt more like hospitality rather than business. Pleasant, reasonable, amenable, and communicative to the Nth degree. Just an awesome experience all around. It is noteworthy that I did not go there with a multidigit order. I only needed two steel pieces 17x3 inches and received service of the highest caliper from them, after having been turned down or driven away from 5 other companies before I happened upon Iconic. This is one instance where the name perfectly describes both the experience and the quality. Great many thanks !!!

Threads, bearing surfaces and anything that must stay bare are masked before coating.
Parts are degreased and given a phosphate pre-treatment, using BCI products. Aluminum gets its own pre-treatment.

Sprayed electrostatically, so the powder wraps to edges and inside corners.
Pre-treated parts go straight to the booth, with no truck ride for flash rust to start.
Baked until the film is fully hardened and bonded to the metal.
Cured to the metal temperature on the powder maker’s data sheet, not the oven air.
Wrapped, crated and labeled in the order you’ll install it.
Film thickness is measured and recorded against your spec before anything is wrapped.
