We blast off rust, mill scale and old coatings, then coat in the same building so the steel doesn’t sit and rust again.
Not sure if your project requires sandblasting? Talk to our specialists and we will recommend whether sandblasting is right for your project.
Sandblasting comes into a job three ways.
We blast the part clean and hand it back bare, with no coating.
Blasting the metal first gives the powder a rougher surface to grip, so the finish lasts longer.
Old paint or powder is stripped off, back to the raw metal.
Rust, mill scale and old paint are blasted away, leaving the steel clean. Mill scale is the dark skin on new steel.
The blast leaves a fine, even texture on the steel, called the anchor profile. It is checked before any powder goes on.
Our team handles the blasting and the powder coating, in the same building. The clean metal is coated before it has a chance to rust.
Have an old piece with a worn finish? We strip it and powder coat it like new. Refurbishing

We sandblast in house, so the clean metal goes straight to powder coating, in the same building.

Rusty, already painted or fresh from the fabricator, we take the metal as it comes and send it back finished.
